Welcome to 6th Grade at Taylor Road!!!  We are so happy to have you in our class and can't wait to start learning more about you as you learn more about Social Studies!

Our first unit is the geography of Europe.  This week we will be focusing on the environmental issues.

Fun Facts about Europe:

(1) Europe is the home to many of the world's oldest countries including the 5 oldest; San Marino, France, Bulgaria, Denmark, and Portugal.

(2) Europe is home to the smallest country in the world, the Holy See or the Vatican. It is the smallest country both in size and population.

(3) The tallest mountain in Europe is Mount Elbrus in Russia.
